Hi Jim,

Just to inform you regarding the Lakes/Creek game.

I spoke with Corey. He had an incident with a parent assaulting one of his 11u coaches. He gave us the full story. We had 2 detail officers that were at our field so they took care of the incident. The parent left the scene and it is now in the hands of BSO.

There was also a domestic incident not within the park that delayed our 12u game. I spoke with the chief of police Chief Dunbar and he said that it had nothing to do with football. It was a domestic dispute husband/wife outside the park and a shot was fired. No one was injured or hurt. It had nothing to do with the program or the kids. Everyone was safe. The game was delayed to make sure all was ok. After everything was checked thoroughly the games continued. The police checked the perimeter, the city workers did a followup walk through, and we did a third check of our field to assure all was well and everyone was safe prior to restarting the games.

I am informing you because of the last incident at PPO and our meeting; we were advised to inform you of all incidents. We want to assure all proper protocol is followed.

Let me know if you should have any questions.

Nicole Williams
Park President/Alt Rep.
