RCC:

       Marvin Jones came to Davie from WPPO in 2014(same year we passed the original park rule). In 2015 he went back to WPPO, his original park.The RCC has determined that Marvin Jones is not entitled to move to PPO and his options to play in the AYFL this season are to either remain at WPPO or he can move back to what is now CCD. The RCC determined that based upon the player's history, the fact that he moved back to his original park constituted a move. As such, his original move to Davie, followed by his return to WPPO consisted of 2 moves. Under our current bylaws, he is only allowed to go back to one of his original parks, as there are no more hardships. The player is cleared to practice at WPPO or CCD. If PPO wishes to make a motion to overturn this recommendation, PPO may do so at the next meeting. If this is the case, then the player must be held out of practice until the Room determines the issue.

o   Motion by Coconut Creek and seconded by PPO to overturn the RCC recommendation concerning Marvin Jones (see below). Motion failed 4 to 6.

Special Committee:

Reinstatement Committee:

       The Committee will recommend at the next league meeting that Coach Ron Hardge and Coach Quincy be reinstated as of 8/27/17 subject to the following conditions:

1. Neither coach shall be permitted to be a head coach through the conclusion of the 2018 season;

2. Both coaches shall remain on probation through the conclusion of the 2018 season; and

3. Until such time as the coaches are reinstated, neither coach shall be permitted to act in any official capacity for CCD.

Any violation of this condition will result in the immediate revocation of their reinstatement. The coaches may go for a background check and complete Heads UP certification in advance so that they may begin coaching as of 8/27/17.

Please note that these Recommendations are subject to the Room not overturning same. The Committee further expressed that any violations of these conditions may result in additional sanctions to CCD.
